Meetup 15 June 2014 + Admin stuff

So apparently we had a meetup yesterday, but only a few of you were invited

To be honest, I didn't invite the rest of you because I either:

1) am not familiar with you
2) don't trust you / feel uncomfortable around you. (I'm looking at a particular member whose username starts with 'K' )

Please understand. I know it's disappointing that I couldn't invite everyone because of safety reasons (which my parents agreed with). But not everyone is willing to meet anyone as they please. 8 of us attended the meetup yesterday, and that is as big a gathering as I will go. I will not expand the number of people invited beyond that (with the exception of 1 absentee yesterday, making that 9 people).

From now on, I'm okay with anyone in this group organising your own meetups within your own small little groups (even without me invited), but I will not be responsible for organising them. I will not publicise, write a journal about it or send invitations for you. Just because I am the Founder of this group doesn't mean that you can make use of me like that. This applies to all the other admins too. If you wanna organise a meetup, you yourself are responsible for it. It was already very difficult for me to convince my parents to meet internet friends.

Good news: charred-heart has been promoted from Contributors to Co-Founders! I felt that she deserved a higher authoritative position, especially since she helps to run the group as much as I and Co-Founder ZKCats do Plus, she was our first member after the group was founded by Cats and I, so why not?

Even so, we still are quite busy at times so we're thinking of inviting some of you to be Contributors to help accept/decline/arrange deviations in this group. Keep an eye on your inboxes!
